Current West Hall and Timber Brook residents parking in the WC parking lot will impacted by the construction of the Maverick Hall starting in Spring 2024. A portion of the WC parking lot will close permanently, while a section closest to Timber Brook will remain open and available to residents with a Resident West permit. Overflow and alternative parking for Resident West permitholders is available in Meadow Run, University Village, and Arbor Oaks parking lots, as well as on-street General parking along Summit Drive. View the UTA Parking Finder app for a list of all the locations where residents can park with their permit.
UTA Parking will provide parking lot occupancy counts for each Resident West parking lot starting in January 2024 so residents can easily identify where parking is available within the UTA Parking Finder app. View the UTA Parking Finder app and click on a parking lot to view the current occupancy, or adjust your Arrival Time to see future parking lot occupancy at your estimated arrival time.
Construction Notification at Areas Near West Hall and Park West Garage
The following is in effect as of January 16, 2024. Office of Facilities Management has scheduled the closure of Lot WC for construction of Maverick Hall (residence hall). On the map provided below, construction fences are marked in orange.
