Aundraea Brown
Aundraea Brown (she/her) is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Texas. After earning a BSW from The University of North Texas and an MSW from The University of Texas at Arlington, she worked as a school social worker for Communities In Schools and Uplift Education. Aundraea's passion for mental health access in schools prompted her to work as a Counseling Manager within Uplift Education. Her work as a Counseling Manager allows her to lead a team of Social/Behavioral Counselors who provide counseling and prevention-centered, school-based mental health services across primary and secondary schools in Dallas. Within UTA, Aundraea works as a Graduate Research Assistant and Adjunct Professor. As a Ph.D. student, she is interested in understanding the inequities of mental health and wellness access for people of color through the lens of racial equity and justice.
