Proscenium Theatre – April 24, 25, 26 at 7:30 & 8:30pm; April 27 at 2 & 3pm
in/emotion is a collaborative, immersive, interactive design and movement experience. It questions ideas around perception, proximity, and place, blurring the lines between audience and performer. A 45-minute experience of interactive video, music, and choreography.
A post-performance talkback on Friday evening at 9:45pm features Dr. Tim Richardson, head of the UTA Sound Studies Minor. A poet and theorist, Richardson is the author of the book Contingency, Immanence, and the Subject of Rhetoric; his recent work engages sound, presence, and memory. At UTA, he teaches courses in antique and contemporary rhetorics, sound, psychoanalytic theory, media studies, and writing.
