The roads are long, they have been long; and yes, I said roads with an s. Everything ends for the Next to begin. I’ll always fly, run, walk, or crawl the roads. I’ll turn out to be who I am. Whatever happens, part of you goes with me...Adios.

For my siblings.
This is a Polaroid picture; a core memory of peace, community, and joy. I am sure you have one too. A memory tied to that familiar arcade smell, that shop in the mall, the streetlights leading to a friend’s front porch. A memory that you share with the ones you love, who helped raise you. Things look a little different now but so do we.
Welcome to the neighborhood block party of my childhood. Welcome to my streets.
