MA Grad Joe Carpenter Accepts Position with Texas Tech

Congratulations to History Master’s student Joe Carpenter, who has accepted a job with Texas Tech University! Upon completing his M.A. in History this summer, Joe will begin work as the Assistant Archivist-Oral Historian for the Vietnam Center in the Sam Johnson Vietnam Archive. During his time at UTA Joe has completed internships with the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum and, since March 2020, has been working with Digital Publishing and Repository Librarian Yumi Ohira on Maverick Veterans’ Voices, an oral history project devoted to preserving the testimony of veterans and their families affiliated with the University of Texas at Arlington. Congratulations, Joe! We are so proud of all your accomplishments.
