Congratulations to doctoral candidate Kevin Moskowitz. Mr. Moskowitz has been awarded an exploratory research grant by the Hagley Museum and Library in Wilmington, Delaware. Kevin Moskowitz’s dissertation in progress, “Detroit Muscle: Automobile Manufacturing and the Middle West, 1913-1959,” is dedicated to exploring the role and influence of the expanding and increasingly complex automobile industry of the first half of the twentieth century. The Hagley grant will be used to examine archival documents related to semi-finished materials and parts manufacturing for the North American automobile industry as a part of Mr. Moskowitz’s dissertation research.
