Will a robot be your next best friend? Disability Studies Minor students visited UTA’s Emotional Robotics Living Lab directed by Theatre Arts Assistant Professor and Disability Studies affiliated faculty Julienne Greer. They learned about UTA's research on emotional robotics and human-robot interaction, and then met and interacted with Dr. Greer’s social robots: NAO and Pepper. Dr. Greer teaches the DS elective course “Robots, Digital Humanities, and Theatre.”
