Screening of Link Kabadyuni Documentary
Arlington, TX — The Department of Communication at The University of Texas at Arlington invites students, faculty, and the public to an exclusive screening of “20-Something,” a deeply personal documentary by UTA Communication alumnus and former basketball player, Link Kabadyundi. The event will take place on November 4, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in room FA 258 on the UTA campus.
“20-Something” is a reflective piece created by Kabadyundi as a gift to himself in celebration of his 30th birthday. The documentary explores his journey over the past decade, emphasizing the significance of personal growth, mental health, and the importance of each individual story. Through his introspective lens, Kabadyundi aims to encourage viewers to see value in their experiences and believe in their ability to achieve with the right support.
Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Engagement at Findhelp | 211 in Toronto, Kabadyundi also leads the SlimmDuck Foundation, founded by NBA player Chris Boucher, and is the founder of THR1VE Media, a platform dedicated to showcasing diverse narratives. His content has been featured by notable names, including Nike, and has reached audiences in major publications.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Kabadyundi in person, hear his story, and gain insights into his career journey as a young professional navigating life’s challenges. Complimentary popcorn, water, and giveaways will be available during the screening.
Kabadyundi offers a powerful piece of advice to those entering the professional world: “Network like your life depends on it. The people you may not have an interest in connecting with today are the people you’ll want to collaborate with tomorrow. Everybody brings something valuable to the table.”
This event promises an afternoon of inspiration, reflection, and community connection.
