UTA Grads Win 11 Lone Star Emmys

ARLINGTON, Texas- The University of Texas at Arlington and Julian Rodriguez Hispanic Media Initiative faculty advisor, had alumni attain 11 Lone Star Emmys on Nov. 10, for their professional work at Telemundo and Univision.

• Vladimir Flores as a reporter, producer, video journalist, Telemundo
• Jairo Lozano as a reporter, Telemundo
• Daniela Ruiz as a assistant producer, Telemundo
• Sonia Salas as a producer, producer writer, producer, Univision
• Raul Solis as videographer twice, Univision
• Angelina Armendariz as a reporter, Telemundo

Rodriguez said while awards are incredible accomplishments, there’s something bigger.
