Liz Rhodes, Junior Biomedical Engineering major

"I chose UTA because it was an affordable option, close to home, and it had a great program for Biomedical Engineering. I decided to apply for the Honors College after receiving an invitation email, and I figured I should try to be as involved as I can be in college since I was commuting. My favorite memory so far has been going to a basketball game with a bunch of people from the Honors College. We were playing Texas State and the game was SUPER close the entire time and went into three overtimes. We had so much fun in the crowd and it's a night I'll never forget."
