Welcome back,

Outside photo of the University of Texas at Arlington campus sign and tower The College of Education is preparing for a great start to the 2023-2024 academic year. We hope you have had an enjoyable summer and are ready for fall classes to begin.

We hope to see you at the College of Education Back to School Bash on Sept. 6. It will be an afternoon filled with fun and friends.

If you have not already done so, please register for fall courses. We encourage you to register for the classes you need as early as possible each semester.

Have you heard that the offices of some College of Education faculty and staff members have moved? Faculty and staff in Carlisle Hall and Science Hall have relocated to Hammond Hall and Trimble Hall. The Office of Advising is now on the first floor of Hammond Hall (room 132). A link to UTA’s map can be found at https://www.uta.edu/maps.

The College of Education welcomes five new faculty members to UTA. Dr. Meredith Billings, Dr. Terry-Ann Rodriguez, and Dr. Sahar Sattarzadeh have joined the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and Dr. Luis E. Pérez Cortés and Dr. Zulma Mojica have joined the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. We know you will enjoy meeting and working with these new faculty.

Welcome back! Best wishes for a wonderful fall semester!

Sincerely,

Casey Graham Brown, Ph.D.
