The paper was one of the final assignments for Dr. Michelle Leverette, who served as a visiting assistant professor and co-coordinator of the accelerated online principal certification program.

Her article, “Potential for Shared Vision: What GT Middle School Teachers Say They Need in Times of Transition,” was published in the School Leadership Review in July.

The qualitative case study dealt with communication among students, parents, teachers, and other educational leaders and its potential impact on the success of gifted and talented students.

In her final days with the college, Michelle thanked her colleagues in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.

“Your insights, proofreading assistance, encouragement, and guidance during my time in ELPS has been invaluable,” she said.

We are so proud of Dr. Leverette and her professional accomplishment.
