About the College of Nursing and Health Innovation
Overview
We are a college of faculty, staff and students who strive to achieve better health and improve the human condition through training and working as health care professionals, through research in basic and applied health science, and through service to our North Texas community and beyond.
We are proud to be one of the nation's largest producers of registered nurses and the largest for the state of Texas and prouder still that we have achieved our size while remaining committed to quality. The College is a three-time designated National League for Nursing Center of Excellence, a designation awarded to institutions that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to excellence in nursing education. We are a college that is still growing, and we continue to attract new faculty who have decided to make UTA home for their research. We also continue to add programs, such as the Ph.D. in Kinesiology and a new Public Health program with both undergraduate and graduate tracks, expanding the options available to students who come to us wanting to make a difference in health care.
We invite you to review our academic programs, to take a look at our exciting research programs, and to find out where you can fit in with our College!
