Do you need more technical skills to advance in the workplace? Or do you need management skills to set yourself apart from other applicants? A Master's Degree from The University of Texas at Arlington College of Business is a way to expand or change your career with more education.

After gaining experience and finding their place in the business world, many find themselves ready to advance to the next level of leadership and take on more responsibilities. According to James Brown, College of Business Graduate Recruiter, industry experience not only shapes your professional career but also influences the choice of a Graduate degree in many instances.

The University of Texas at Arlingtons College of Business offers nationally ranked Master’s Programs including the Part-Time Master’s of Business Administration. Additionally, the College of Business offers over $200,000 to graduate students annually

To start, pursuing a Master’s degree looks a lot different from earning an Undergraduate degree. At the Graduate level, students meet once a week for class, typically for two or three hours. Courses are offered in the evening and require more preparation, which happens outside of class. This versatile medium and schedule allows students to attend class while working full time.

The way classes are taught differs from the Undergraduate experience too. Experiential learning is instrumental in the Graduate school experience. It helps prepare students for the workforce by allowing them to work through potential, and in some cases, real world business problems. According to James Brown, students get the chance to pitch a business plan in class. The idea is that you understand the steps you have to go through to pitch to a potential client. Additionally, students also learn how to communicate their plans which are things you do in the workforce all the time.

You are always presenting something or convincing someone to sign with you as a client,” Brown continued. “The preparation of trying to make people job ready through experiential learning is what a lot of graduate programs are doing regardless of the subject.

A graduate degree can be a game-changer for your career, offering numerous benefits from higher earnings and career advancement to specialized expertise and networking opportunities. Whether youre looking to climb the corporate ladder, switch industries, or gain a competitive edge in your field, a graduate education provides the tools and credentials needed to achieve your goals. By carefully considering the potential return on investment and selecting the right program, you can make a strategic decision that pays off both professionally and personally.
