Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce offers scholarships for the next generation of women leaders
The Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce is offering scholarships to students at Tarrant County College – Southeast campus and the University of Texas at Arlington.
The Greater Arlington Chamber’s Women’s Alliance is offering students the Dr. Judith J. Carrier Scholarship which is dedicated to cultivating and developing the next generation of women leaders by awarding $19,500 in scholarships.
The Greater Arlington Chamber's Women’s Alliance is focused on empowering and uniting women through business and community endeavors. The Women’s Alliance pledges to offer leadership, mentoring, and direction to its devoted members and is committed to strengthening women as professional, business, community and civic leaders.
At UTA, there are three $1,500 scholarship opportunities for undergraduate students, and three $2,000 scholarship opportunities for graduate students.

Undergraduate requirements: Students must be female with a high school diploma or GED, must be attending UTA and have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at either TCC-SE or UTA. The student must also be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours at UTA as of the Fall 2025 semester and have a current GPA of 3.0.
Graduate requirements: Students must be female, have a Bachelor’s degree and have 9 credits or more toward a graduate program at UTA. The student must also be enrolled in 9 or more credit hours or whatever you program deems as full-time in the Fall 2025 semester and have a GPA of 3.0.
Along with scholarship opportunities for students enrolled at TCC-SE and UTA, there are other scholarship opportunities for students pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing at UTA and an Associate of Applied Science degree from TCC-SE.
