The award is given annually to the fraternity that demonstrates the highest degree of improvement in operations, professional programs, and membership support compared to the previous academic year. Each chapter must submit an online application reviewed by fraternity volunteers of each region. There are five to ten collegiate chapters in each geographical area.

“Over the past three semesters, we have rebuilt our processes to ensure better involvement through planning and execution. We also increased the value brothers get out of being members of the chapter” stated Jared Munoz, President of Delta Sigma Pi, as he talked about the challenges faced recently and how the chapter has changed.

Since COVID, the chapter has been rebuilding from low chapter enrollment and low participation. The annual Most Improved Chapter award signifies how far the fraternity has changed for the better.

Rashita Babu, Senior Vice President of Delta Sigma Pi, spoke about the recognition and what it means going forward. She said “this symbolizes our dedication to excellence and growth. The award can impact the future of our chapter by attracting new members, creating a stronger alumni network, increased resources, and enhances our reputation. Students can benefit from the chapter’s professional development opportunities.”
