DEGREE OVERVIEW
The MSN in nursing education program prepares students for a career as a nurse educator in associate and baccalaureate nursing programs, as well as education positions in health care delivery systems. The Online MSN Nursing Education program concentrates on the core knowledge needed to develop curricula, advance teaching skills and evaluate and develop active strategies in the classroom and clinical settings.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
'The online nursing education program prepares nurses with the knowledge and skills needed to promote student engagement, student retention, and active learning. Simulation and other relevant teaching strategies are also part of the online MSN nursing education program. This accredited program provides preparation for career options that include roles such as clinical nursing educator, adjunct professor, and patient education coordinator, to name a few.
The program is 39 semester credit hours and offered exclusively in the accelerated online format.
