Workout schedule:
Weekdays at 6:45 a.m., anywhere
from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.
Do you work out more now that the MAC has opened?
A lot more. There are more
machines, and it's more appealing.
What equipment do you use?
I like the tread climber cardio
equipment and the elliptical cardio. If I run, I use the new track. I also use
the Life Fitness weight machines.
When working out, do you listen to music or watch TV?
A little of both. I always have my
iPod to listen to, but if there's something of interest on TV, I'll watch it.
What music and shows do you prefer?
I listen to everything, depending
on what mood I'm in. I like watching ESPN, usually Pardon the Interruption
or Sports
Center.
Favorite features:
I like the indoor track and how it
opens up to the gym floor. It's also wider and longer than the old one, so
instead of running 16 laps for a mile, it's only nine.
How does this compare to the old facility?
The MAC is beyond better. It's
larger and has more and better equipment. The gym space is better. There are
more machines with TVs and more rooms for aerobics classes.
Describe the MAC in five words or fewer.
State of the art.
