The Spaniolo family gathers following the President's Investiture and Convocation for Academic Excellence.

Flanked by regents Cindi Taylor Krier and Robert Estrada, President Spaniolo dons the presidential medallion, symbolizing the authority of the office. The medallion, which features the UTA seal, will be worn at appropriate ceremonial occasions.

President Spaniolo shows off his boots to well-wishers at a reception following the ceremony. "I plan to break in my new boots working for our university and my new home," he said in his investiture address.

Students walk from University Hall to Texas Hall for the Investiture and Convocation, where they were honored for academic achievement.
