| Whereas | Parking on campus has been increasingly difficult to obtain, it being served on an extreme first come, first serve basis, and; |
| Whereas | UTA hosts a large number of out-of-state and international students who do not plan to own a car within their limited stay in Texas, and; |
| Whereas | Bicycles offer a cheaper and more eco-friendly alternative to cars, and; |
| Whereas | There is a shortage of bicycle racks/stands on campus, and; |
| Whereas | The large number of Veo Scooters also takes up some space in the bike racks otherwise to be used for bicycles; |
| Be It Further Resolved That | More bicycle racks/stands be installed around campus, especially close to popular locations so students can park their bicycles. |
