Whereas | The University of Texas at Arlington offers many language courses that allow students to increase their knowledge of foreign languages; and |
Whereas | UTA is committed to maintaining a diverse student population and culturally rich education; and |
Whereas | Students in Fine Arts, Liberal Arts, Music, Fashion, and many other fields of study need the Italian and Japanese language to give them a more competitive edge in their fields; and |
Whereas | UTA does not currently offer any Italian or Japanese language courses or curriculum; |
Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington introduce courses that would allow students to learn the Italian and Japanese language. |
