Description The word "Welcome" be displayed in the officially recognized language of each of the 115 countries, along with the name of the country printed underneath, representing past and present students be displayed in the six kiosks along the windows of the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center.

Whereas The Dan Dipert University Welcome Center serves as the entry point, and a first impression, for all prospective students and campus vistors at UT Arlington, and
Whereas UT Arlington prides itself on its diversity, having previously enrolled students from 115 different countries around the world, and
Whereas Since the removal of the internationally recognized offical national flags from Nedderman Hall, there has been no similar colorful visual representation of the internation diversity of the student body on display on campus, and
Whereas Idea #2a in Appendix A of the "Committee on Diversity and International Understanding Final Report" suggested the "name of the country and a local greeting welcoming vistors to UT Arlington, and
Whereas The Dan Dipert University Welcome Center, though a wonderful structure, is largely undecorated on the interior.
Be It Further Resolved That The word "Welcome" be displayed in the offically recognized language of each of the 115 countries, along with the name of the country printed underneath, representing past and present students be displayed in the six kiosks along the windows of the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center.
