Remarks | Some people still need this shuttle stop and the committee did not want to take this service away from them. |
Whereas | The UTA shuttle service has begun this semester with the stadium-long route shuttle bus taking a longer time to run than last year; and |
Whereas | This is a huge concern for students living on campus especially those who are registered with the office of disabilities; and |
Whereas | It is not in the budget to get a second bus for that route; and |
Whereas | The stadium-long route has its least amount of students pick up and drop off at the Social Work Complex even after the implementation of the new signage in front of the building; and |
Whereas | This stop also takes the longest to cater to due to the back up of traffic on Copper Street that usually occurs after class times or the two times a day when the train is crossing; and |
Whereas | The Social Work Complex stop was added in recent years solely for the benefit of one student who was registered with the office of disabilities and who has now graduated. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The Social Work Complex stop be by request only so that the stadium-long route can run more efficiently and take less time. |
