Remarks | Ackowledging our students accomplishments is important. We will ask the Provost Office to cosnider the resolution for future implementations. |
Whereas | Students spending years working hard to graduate with honors should be guaranteed proper acknowledgment of their achievements; and |
Whereas | UTA does not distinguish between the three levels of graduation honors (Magna Cum Laude, Summa Cum Laude or Cum Laude); and |
Whereas | Most universities offer students three levels of honors cords based upon their level of honors achievements. |
Be It Further Resolved That | UTA provides three levels of honors cords available to students graduating with honors that properly distinguish their level of accomplishment. |
