| Remarks | IMPLEMENTED - VP for Administration and Campus Operation issued a memo stating that residence hall and apartment permits will be valid in Greek lots from 8am-5pm immediately. |
| Whereas | Student Lot #29 (located behind the Greek houses) and lot GR (behind FIJI, Tri-Delta and AXO houses) is designated as Open Parking, meaning that only those with a Student or Faculty/Staff may park there between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm on Monday through Friday; and |
| Whereas | Many dues-paying Greek members have other parking permits, such as those for residence halls and apartment complexes; and |
| Whereas | These students are being cited for displaying the wrong permit for this lot when they are simply visiting Greek houses. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The UTA Parking office devise a plan for dues-paying Greek members to acquire, at a nominal fee, something that will distinguish them as members of the Greek system; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Student Lot 29 and GR lot will become open to those students that have the special designation as a Greek member; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | (Amendment) The UTA Parking office allow for dues-paying Greek members of chapters with houses near said lots to acquire, at a fee of not more than 20% of the existing parking permit cost, to distinguish them as members of the Greek system, and a parking pass addendum. |
