Whereas | Each Student Congress resolution passed by the Legislative Body was created by someone that cared about the issue it addressed and agreed upon by the body who passed it; and |
Whereas | It is up to the successive Student Congress members and especially the Election Committee to make sure these bills are adhered to each semester; and |
Whereas | This has not been done in the past and, in fact, has even led to a resolution to clean out a significant portion of bills passed in the last decade. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The Student Congress Executive Committee namely the Historian and Recording Secretary, research through time to pick out all bills passed by Student Congress that should be followed up on; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | This information be compiled into a handbook on operating procedures; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | This handbook be updated on a semesterly basis; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | The Executive Committee, at the beginning of each semester, monitor that all the steps are taken that each of the resolutions are adhered to by the different factions of the University. |
