Whereas | Many students enjoy socializing, relaxing and drinking a beer or wine after classes; and |
Whereas | Beer and wine are only available on campus after 4 pm in the lower level of the University Center known as the Dry Gulch; and |
Whereas | Business such as Gilligans or Bentlys are frequented by UTA faculty and students, taking dollars away from UTA; and |
Whereas | Much of the money spent at Gilligans and Bentlys could be supporting University Establishments. |
Be It Further Resolved That | Student Congress support and recommend sales of wine & beer during lunch and dinner at food outlets in the food court of University Center; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | Wine and beer be available with food sales during lunch and dinner at campus food outlets. |
