Whereas | Many students plan their course schedules around which teachers will be teaching their courses; and |
Whereas | It is in the best interest of a student to register as early as possible to ensure proper class scheduling; and |
Whereas | Many Colleges and or departments do not post who will teach their courses on the online course listings site. |
Be It Further Resolved That | Colleges, Schools, and Departments post professor's names on the course offerings website as soon as they know who will teach the class; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | Colleges, Schools, and Departments make every effort possible to determine which professors will teach which classes before the first day of registration for all students each semester; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | The Office of Institutional Research and Planning begin collecting data to determine if add/drop rates for courses whose professors are not posted differ from courses that are posted and that the Office of Institutional Research and Planning present their findings within 2 years. |
