Whereas | The underlying cause of most environmental disasters created/caused by humankind have been economic in origin; and |
Whereas | Greed, and the desire for quick profit have fostered a total disregard and a complete lack of concern for the environment; and |
Whereas | To truly understand the impact of economics on said environment one must be exposed to curriculum contained in an introductory Environmental Science class; and |
Whereas | The graduates of the School of Business are among the future leaders of American and international businesses responsible for said impact on the environment. |
Be It Further Resolved That | All students within the College of Business be required to enroll in an introductory Environmental Science class to better comprehend the impact they will have on the environment; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | All future, and those Business students that have not yet completed 60 hours, be subject to this requirement; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | Those students that have completed 60 or more credit hours have the option to include this requirement in their degree plan; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | This resolution take effect immediately. |
