Remarks | FAILED - Benefit this service is not worth the tremendous cost to ACS. |
Whereas | It is inefficient for UTA to deny access to its students at different times throughout the year; and |
Whereas | Students pay for services by UTA to its students that many cannot gain access to off-campus; and |
Whereas | Students expect to have access to said services until they are no longer students; and |
Whereas | UTA allows students access to parking, library services, and several other services, and several other services throughout the summer even if one is not enrolled in a Summer session; and |
Whereas | By allowing access to all services throughout the Summer sessions to continuing students throughout the census date for the Fall semester, UTA would be saving time, money, and stress for both students and employees of UTA. |
Be It Further Resolved That | UTA make access to services available to students throughout the Summer sessions, up until the Fall census date; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | That the only exception be the Health Center, which may continue its practice of charging $12.50 for Summer sessions; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | This resolution take effect immediately. |
