Whereas Enrollment figures have decreased over the past four years at UTA, and an Associate Ambassador Program would be beneficial in extending services such as tours, recruitment, and helping with special events.
Be It Further Resolved That The Associate Ambassador Program be established in association with the UTA Ambassador Program, and that it have the following prerequisites: candidates must have completed 12(twelve) hours in residence at UTA, and/or have been a past ambassador at UTA, and must have run for an ambassador position in the previous election; and
Be It Further Resolved That Requirements will be the following: complete and submit the application, attend the scheduled interview, and attend the Associate Ambassador training session; and
Be It Further Resolved That Responsibilities will be following: attend scheduled events, participate in summer orientation tours as needed, attend bi-monthly Ambassador meetings, work a minimum of one office hour per month, and serve in the Associate Ambassador position for one year unless elected to an Ambassador position; and
Be It Further Resolved That Associate Ambassadors must purchase one shirt with the UTA logo. These shirts will not be personalized. Associate Ambassador pins will be provided to be worn with other attire (e.g., to be worn at events requiring a different dress code); and
Be It Further Resolved That The selection process will be as follows: applicants must complete an application and sign-up for a pre-scheduled interview. The number of Associate Ambassadors selected may vary according to current needs. Interviews will be conducted by Mr. and Ms. UTA and at least two current Ambassadors based on merit who will be chosen by Mr. and Ms. UTA; and
Be It Further Resolved That This resolution shall take effect immediately.
