Whereas | A student recently experienced a flat tire at UTA and upon request for help in changing it, she was informed that UTA police are not required to aid or perform such tasks; and |
Whereas | It is the duty of any police officer to BOTH serve and protect; and |
Whereas | Changing a tire is not an extremely dangerous and time-consuming task. |
Be It Further Resolved That | UTA police officers serve the students of UTA by aiding in the task of changing a flat tire on campus. |
