Whereas | Under the current grading ystem an 87 is given the same grade point as an 80; and |
Whereas | There is a significant difference between an 87 and an 80; and |
Whereas | Almost all graduate and law schools treat a student's GPA as a significant factor for admission; and |
Whereas | Many schools, such as Iowa State and Stanford, have instituted a revised scale that recognizes the difference beween a B+ and a B; and A more accurate accounting of student's grades to reflect academic achievemnet will increase enrollment. |
