Remarks FAILED - No information is available as to why this resolution was killed.
Whereas There is a week before finals designated as Final Review Week; and
Whereas Many professors continue to teach new material and/or schedule tests during this time, which is, on many occasions, not mentioned in the syllabus or is a result of professors falling behind schedule; and
Whereas Students often struggle to learn new material when they need to devote time studying strictly for finals since these exams can be as much as 50% of the grade.
Be It Further Resolved That A break immediatley prior to finals be added during which no classes or activities are scheduled; and
Be It Further Resolved That A prospective time period be 2 to 3 days.
