Remarks | FAILED - Call tracing for malicious calls can already be done. Also, most calls on campus come from cellular phones. |
Whereas | The University of Texas at Arlington provides students with a pro bono phone line in their residence halls as well as certain apartment complexes; and |
Whereas | Even though these are metro-lines, they only have basic service; and |
Whereas | The University has implemented supplementary phone services to departments (such as caller ID) for a certain price; and |
Whereas | Students have maliciously been receiving prank calls. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The University provide accompanying phone services (such as caller ID) at a nominal fee to the students that live in residential housing where the phone line is provided by the University. |
