Whereas | The Foreign Language Department recently dropped all French classes from the evening class schedule; and |
Whereas | Evening students are not offered many of the same course selections as day students by the Liberal Arts College; and |
Whereas | Many professors will not allow independent studies of their classes; and |
Whereas | Evening students more often have strict work schedules. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The department within the Liberal Arts College, like the Foreign Language Department offer a more balanced evening schedule proportionate to the large number of evening students attending UTA; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | Professors be instructed to allow independent studies of their classes, as many classes are not offered on a regular basis. |
