Whereas | Student involvement and school spirit are often lacking at UTA; and |
Whereas | Football teams at many colleges are a center of attention for many interests, including student involvement and school spirit; and |
Whereas | Other colleges such as Mary Hardin-Baylor and Hardin-Simmons have begun football programs and noticed increased student interest; and |
Whereas | A football team will promote an overall better college atmosphere and possibly increase enrollment. |
Be It Further Resolved That | UTA take the necessary steps immediately to reinstate a competitive NCAA football program. |
