Whereas | The two picnic tables in the Horseshoe area of the Geo Science Building are in disrepair; and |
Whereas | Many students use the tables for eating, studying, and smoking; and |
Whereas | There is a general campus-wide improvement movement; and |
Whereas | Wooden picnic tables are not sturdy enough for the amount of use they are receiving. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The two wooden picnic tables in the Geo Science Horseshoe area be replaced with two picnic tables of similar material and quality as other picnic tables on campus and of a design in keeping with the aesthetics of the Geo Science building and the UTA Master Plan. |
