Whereas | The admissions office has paid representation that assist in freshman and transfer orientation sessions; and |
Whereas | The paid individuals are many times not familiar with all aspects of what UTA has to offer (i.e. Student Activities and Student Governance); and |
Whereas | Ambassadors have school spirit and can pass tradition and pride on to new students; and |
Whereas | The ambassadors are willing and trained to represent UTA with spirit and dedication without financial reimbursement. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The Ambassador Program be re-installed into orientation and recruitment process in a co-sponsorship with the admissions office to create a more well-rounded experience for our new students. |
