Whereas | The College of Liberal Arts requires students to pass a total of 14 credit hours of foreign language in order to graduate; and |
Whereas | Liberal Arts students have gained an appreciation and understanding for language by the time they have completed their first eight credit hours; and |
Whereas | The remaining six hours of foreign language is often forgotten if not applied on a regular basis. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The Foreign Language Department offer cultural classes that could replace the last six hours of foreign language requirements if a student chooses to do so. |
