Whereas | There is a growing concern over the cost of college textbooks, not to mention rising tuition costs; and |
Whereas | Students are beginning to become unable to maintain their financial stability while pursuing a higher education degree; and |
Whereas | Similar educational costs such as education and cost are tax free; and |
Whereas | If taxes were lifted on higher educational textbooks, the financial burden would be reduced. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The Student Congress at The University of Texas at Arlington voice concern over this issue to the State Legislature. |
