| Remarks | FAILED - Aramark would agree only to 80 meals for $500 with no Dining Dollars. |
| Whereas | There are currently four meal plans for university students; and |
| Whereas | The smallest of these meal plans is plan A, which consists of ten meals per Week (Monday-Friday) and $125 worth of dining dollars which can be used at the University Plaza, the Corral, and Sam's Click Caf', for a total cost of $879.25 per semester; and, |
| Whereas | Those meals that are not used are lost; and |
| Whereas | This size meal plan appeals mainly to those students who reside on campus. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | In order to make meals more appealing to non-resident students, two new meal plan options be added - Plan E(five meals per week, Monday-Friday, with $62.50 worth of dining dollars) for a cost of $439.64 per semester and Plan F (five meals per week, Monday-Friday, with no dining dollars) for a cost of $377.13 per semester. |
