Remarks | FAILED - Expectant mothers can apply for temporary handicapped hangtags if needed. |
Whereas | It is difficult for pregnant women to walk far distances on campus; and |
Whereas | It would be relatively easy to establish special parking spaces and temporary hang tags for these women; and |
Whereas | Documentation is easily attainable from the doctor's office to provide proof upon entering the third trimester; and |
Whereas | Three months after birth the mother is still recovering from either delivery or a cesarean section. |
Be It Further Resolved That | A few parking spaces closest to each building be designated Maternity Parking for expecting mothers from the third trimester to three months after she has given birth. |
