Whereas | Currently Biology 2457 and 2458 are sophomore level b courses that do not count toward a Biology degree; and |
Whereas | Many students would take these classes if they counted toward upper level Biology electives, as they are important to future tests such as MCAT and DAT; and |
Whereas | Many other universities are changing their anatomy courses to junior level, such as UT Dallas; and |
Whereas | This issue has been raised repeatedly in the past; and |
Whereas | The course curriculum will not be altered by this change. |
Be It Further Resolved That | Biology 2457 and 2458 (Anatomy and Physiology I and II) be raised to junior level standing so that students may take these courses for credit toward graduation. |
