Remarks | FAILED - University interim president said that the establishment would have to sell $5000/week to break even. He doubted that happening. |
Whereas | There is not an on-campus bar or a place that sells alcoholic beverages on campus; and |
Whereas | The Bowling and Billiards room has a snack shop equipped with refrigerators that can house beer and light alcohol; and |
Whereas | Serving beer and light alcohol will keep students on-campus for drinks and increase the traffic in the games room; and |
Whereas | The sale of beer and light alcohol in the games room is a more feasible plan than the creation of an on-campus bar; and |
Whereas | Other Universities, such as The University of Houston, sell beer and light alcohol in their games room with much success. |
Be It Further Resolved That | Bowling and Billiards sell beer and light alcohol. |
