STUDENT GOVERNMENT IS COMPRISED OF THREE BRANCHES. EACH BRANCH HAS VARIOUS LEGISLATION/DOCUMENTS THAT THEY WRITE.
Legislative Branch
Resolutions are documents, which state a problem on campus with a potential solution to affect change. (Similar to a bill in real government.)
Proposals are documents, which attempt to change something within Student Government or any other topics that need a vote by the Student Senate. (More of an internal issue or vote.)
Executive Branch
The Student Body President has the ability to write Executive Memos, which are statements to the student body, administration, or governmental entity on behalf of the Student Government.
Judicial Branch
Decisions are short summaries of funding allocations to student organizations.
Opinions are judicial decisions about constitutional issues or membership removals.
