Join the Homecoming crew and the Division of Student Affairs for the annual Chili Cook-Off. Teams will compete to win the ultimate prize of Chili Cook-Off champion, bragging rights, and an awesome trophy! Wednesday, November 8th University Center Mall Preliminary judging begins at 11:30am Event starts and opens to UTA Community at noon Deadline to apply: NOON on Monday, November 6th *Entry space is limited, so secure your spot now!* The Cook-Off is open to all UT Arlington student, faculty/staff, and alumni groups Rules and Regulations 1. Make your favorite chili dish! There are no regulations in regards to ingredients. The chili can contain your choice of meat/no meat, beans/no beans, spices, vegetables, etc. Please note that your chili needs to be homemade. No pre-made chili from the grocery store or restaurants will be accepted. 2. Make and bring a minimum of 4 quarts of your chili. If you'd like to bring more, please feel free! 3. Bring a crock-pot to keep your chili warm for the judges and crowd to sample. 4. We will provide tasting cups, bowls, plastic utensils, napkins, tent, table, and access to electrical outlets (if needed). 5. Your chili will be judged by several members of the UTA administration. Factors of aroma, taste, appearance, and texture will be considered. 6.
