2025 marks the 130th anniversary of UTA, a milestone we are eagerly preparing to celebrate with dedicated events happening all year long. Our story is one of growth, innovation, and Maverick spirit, and we’re thrilled to be honoring it in ways that bring you along for the journey. We’re kicking off that celebration right here in this magazine with a feature that takes you on a visual walk through UTA’s rich history. Check out our 130th anniversary website to find updates on all the plans for the celebration—there will be plenty of opportunities for you to join in the fun!

Alongside our anniversary, we’re embarking on an exciting new chapter with our newest expansion, UTA West in Fort Worth at Walsh. This development is part of our ongoing commitment to serve the region and expand access to quality education and research, making it possible for even more students and community partners to join in the Maverick experience.

As I think about all of you—our alumni, who carry the Maverick Factor with you wherever you go—I am so proud to be part of this vibrant community. Together, we’ve built quite a legacy, and we’re just getting started. Thank you for your continued connection to UTA, for the ways you support our mission, and for being part of the Maverick family.
