Dr. Paul Conrad to host book talk
The Center for Greater Southwestern studies invites you to a book talk by Dr. Paul Conrad, Wednesday, May 5th at noon, CST. The meeting link is https://rebrand.ly/apache_diaspora.
Dr. Conrad will discuss his book, The Apache Diaspora: Four Centuries of Displacement and Survival (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2021), which examines Apache (Ndé) groups’ experiences of slavery, forced migration, and colonialism that scattered them across North America and the Caribbean, changing Native and colonial societies in the process. His talk will be followed by a question and answer session.
