  Dr. Jennifer Cowley

Greetings,

As I approach the three-month mark as president of The University of Texas at Arlington, I’ve gained valuable knowledge and perspective about UTA that leave me invigorated about the future of this great University.

The stories I’m sharing represent just some of the intellectual vigor and community-minded spirit that I’ve found in abundance in Arlington. We’re producing Fulbright scholars and Harvard fellows, leading projects for NASA, building our capabilities in health informatics, and creating new pathways for students interested in agricultural careers.

At the same time, we’re taking care of our own, through an expanded Maverick Pantry that helps students access food and essential items so they can thrive academically, personally, and professionally. Our primary focus—always—is to support our students.

Thank you for your support and interest in our University. It is essential to our success.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Cowley signature
